Getting Started

Navigator is a Claude Code plugin that implements context engineering — load what you need, when you need it — so your sessions last 20+ exchanges and finish what they start.

Install in 30 seconds

# 1. Install
/plugin marketplace add qf-studio/navigator
/plugin install navigator
# (then restart Claude Code)
 
# 2. Initialize (once per project)
"Initialize Navigator in this project"
 
# 3. Start every session
"Start my Navigator session"

Updating from v6

/plugin update navigator
# then restart Claude Code

The restart is required for v7.0.0: the manifest hook set changed (nine v6 hook scripts replaced by a single dispatcher), and Claude Code caches the hook manifest at session start.

Config migration is additive — your existing v6 blocks in .agent/.nav-config.json are preserved, and missing blocks default safe. New blocking features ship disabled; enable them explicitly:
