What it does
- Asks clarifying questions about the pattern, triggers, and expected output
- Uses a Task agent to explore the codebase for naming conventions, directory structure, import/export and testing patterns (60-80% token savings vs manual reads)
- Designs skill metadata and directory structure (SKILL.md, functions/, examples/, templates/)
- Generates the skill files with auto-invocation triggers, predefined functions, and templates derived from real code
- Tests the generated skill and verifies auto-invocation works
- Updates project docs (CLAUDE.md, README, plugin registry) for the new skill
