Generates new Navigator slash commands that follow established project conventions and structure.

Triggers

Natural-language phrases that auto-invoke the skill:

  • “Add a slash command for…”
  • “Create a new /nav:[name] command”
  • “Generate slash command…”

What it does

  • Gathers command requirements: name (kebab-case), purpose, complexity (simple/medium/complex), and whether it is user-facing or internal
  • Uses a Task agent to find similar existing commands and extract their section structure, tone, and formatting
  • Designs the command structure scaled to complexity level
  • Generates the command markdown file at commands/[name].md with valid YAML frontmatter via command_generator.py
  • Validates frontmatter, structure, examples, and tone via command_validator.py
  • Shows a usage example and next steps for documentation
